    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage temperature adjusting basin which can protect draining facilities such as sewerage, and to provide a draining system using the drainage temperature adjusting basin.
      SOLUTION: The drainage temperature adjusting basin 10 is formed of: an inflow port 28 and an outflow port 30 which are opened in a side surface 14 of a basin body 12; and a reservoir section 32 formed in a lower part of the basin body 12. Specifically the reservoir section 32 is formed underneath the bottom of the outflow port 30. When a drain pipe 46 in which high-temperature drainage flows is connected to the inflow port 28 and at the same time a drain pipe 54 communicating with a sewer pipe 40 is connected to the outflow port 30, high-temperature drainage flows from the inflow port 28, and temporarily retained in the reservoir section 32, which results in lowering of the temperature of the drainage due to heat dissipation during the retention. When new high-temperature drainage flows in and a water level of the drainage reaches the bottom portion of the outflow port 30, the drainage whose temperature has lowered is discharged to the sewer pipe 40 and the like. Thus by lowering the temperature of the high-temperature drainage, the sewer pipe 40 etc. located on a downstream side of the basin are prevented from thermal degradation, and therefore the draining facilities can be protected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe joint 10 via which a branch pipe 16 can be easily connected to a main pipe 14 while developing stable cutoff performance with the elasticity of a body 12. SOLUTION: The branch pipe joint 10 comprises the hollow cylindrical body 12, a ring protruded portion 26 provided on the inner peripheral face of the body 12, and an outer periphery groove 32 formed in the outer peripheral face. The body 12 and the ring protruded portion 26 are each formed of an elastic material such as a rubber or an elastomer. The inner diameter of the body 12 at a position where the ring protruded portion 26 and the outer periphery groove 32 are formed is set to be smaller than the outer diameter of the branch pipe 16. When the outer periphery groove 32 is fitted to a hole 46 of the main pipe 14 and the branch pipe 16 is inserted into a hollow portion 18, the outer periphery groove 32 is pressed against the hole 46 and the ring protruded portion 26 is put in close contact with the branch pipe 16.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for an inner sub-pipe which can simplify the maintenance of a sewer pipeline in a manhole such as the savings in the visual inspection of the interior of an inflow pipe or time and effort for work. SOLUTION: The joint 10 for the inner sub-pipe is provided with an inflow inlet 28, and side wall surfaces 32 are provided to both sides of the inflow inlet 28. Then a wall surface part 40 is provided by a hinge 38 attached to the side wall surface 32 so that the wall surface part 40 can be detachably attached. Because of this, when the wall surface part 40 is closed, the wall surface part 40 is attached to the front of the inflow inlet 28, and covers an opening 30 of a body. On the other hand, when the wall surface part 40 is opened, the wall surface part 40 is removed and the opening 30 of the body appears. As a result, by the opening of the wall surface part 40, the visual inspection of the interior of the inflow pipe from the opening 30 of the body is made possible, and the removal of the inner sub-pipe becomes unnecessary. Then the time and effort for work can be saved, thus the maintenance can be simplified. When the check valve 10 is attached to a basin 12, the saddle 16 is fixed to the basin 12 with a cutoff material 20 by adjusting a tube bottom of the valve tube 22 to a pipe bottom of the inflow pipe 14 while an outer surface of the saddle 16 is positioned alongside an inner surface of the basin 12. Bad smell and drainage are prevented from breaking into an inflow pipe 14 and further to the house from the basin 12, by blocking the valve tube 22 openably and closably by means of the valve body 28. The saddle 16 can be easily mounted to the existing basin 12, by positioning the saddle 16 alongside the basin 12. The check valve 10 can be visually inspected and checked from the upper side of the basin 12, by positioning the valve tube 22 and the valve body 28 inside of the basin 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new check valve which is excellent in constructibility to be properly and easily installed in a pit even if the pipe of a riser portion is long and to provide an installation method for the check valve.
      SOLUTION: The check valve 10 prevents the backflow of wastewater into an inflow port 102. The check valve is equipped with a valve seat 12, and installed in such a manner that an opening 14 of the valve seat faces the inflow port of the pit 100. For example, a bottom surface of the valve seat is formed in such a shape as to abut on the bottom of the pit, and the valve seat is provided with a valve body 24 for openably/closably closing the inner surface side of the opening. Additionally, a connecting portion 32 for connecting the valve seat and an abutting portion 34 together is formed in the upper portion of the valve seat, and a positional relationship between the valve seat and the abutting portion is fixedly maintained with the connecting portion. The abutting portion abuts on the inner surface of the riser portion 114 in the installation of the check valve in the pit, and regulates the direction of the valve seat with respect to the axial direction of the riser portion.
