SOLUTION: Tie plate-shaped joint members 2 in two rows are projected in the same direction at regular intervals in the external-surface axial direction of the main pipe 1 of the steel pipe sheet pile while the joints 2 are also installed similarly at the symmetric positions on the reverse side of the main pipe 1 as required, and a plurality of through-holes 3 are formed to sections held by the joints 2 in the main pipe 1, thus constituting the steel pipe sheet pile A. The joints 2 are driven to a ground towards the adjacent sheet pile A side, the inside of the main pipe 1 and sections surrounded by the joints 2 are excavated, earth-removed and washed, and filled with concrete, and the sheet pipes A are connected mutually in the case of the execution of works. The adhesive strength of concrete is increased by forming irregularities to the internal side faces of the joints 2 at request, and displacement is prevented by forming retaining sections guiding the joints 2 of the sheet pile A adjacent to the front end sections of the joints 2. Thus, the shear strength of the joint sections of the steel pipe sheet pile can be improved simply and remarkably.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a large size steel pipe pile, by driving small size auxiliary piles nearly up to the bearing substratum in an estimated circle equivalent to the section of a rotary penetration steel pipe pile at the basic plane for application in the ground and driving a large size pile up to the bearing stratum so that the center of the circle corresponds to the center of the pile. CONSTITUTION:The center of a pile is positioned on the basic plane for the application in the ground to be piled and a circle 1 is estimated to be same as the section of a rotary penetration pipe pile to have the same center. Next, one or a plurality of auxiliary piles 2 with a smaller diameter are driven to insert up to the nearby level of the bearing stratum. Next, the large size rotary steel pipe pile 3 is inserted up to the bearing stratum so that the center of the circle 1 corresponds to the center of the pile. The pipes inside the front end of the pile are pressed by each other due to the auxiliary piles 2 to promote the compacting. In this way, even if a rotary steel pipe pile is large in the diameter, a sufficient vertical supporting force can be obtained.

And a second steel pipe pile 40 is welded at the upper end of the first steel pipe pile 38 to be of the same axsis with the first steel pipe pile 38. In this way, a plurality of welded steel pipe piles 38, 40 are inserted into the ground.

Further, if a layer having a large N value is presented among intermediate layers within a predetermined drive-in section, an elevating action is temporarily applied to the pile body in accordance with these obtained strength of the earth layer at the forward end of the pile, with a stroke in a range by which soil therearound is not disturbed. With this arrangement, the pile fan easily pierce through an intermediate layer even having an N value higher than 50, and it is possible to attain the press-in of the pile up to a predetermined drive-in depth while avoiding blocking the open end of the pile.
