    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining system which uses a composite optical fiber, is used particularly in the field of welding and cutting using a laser and besides, is used in a medical treatment field using the laser and laser decontamination, such as surface cleaning, using the laser. SOLUTION: This laser beam machining system has the composite optical fiber which is formed by bundling and integrating many fibers for image transmission to the circumference of a large-fiber for laser transmission for machining, an incident section which makes the laser beam for machining incident on the composite optical fiber, and exit section which emits the laser beam for machining transmitted by the composite optical fiber toward a workpiece, a laser synthesizing section which simultaneously makes the laser beam for illumination for illuminating the workpiece and the laser beam for machining incident on the composite optical fiber by utilizing a difference in wavelengths and an observation section for observing the image of the workpiece illuminated from the laser by separating the same from disturbance light, such as the light emitted in machining.

    • PURPOSE:To make uniform a tritium breeding material by setting a lining plate of metal between the inner wall of a vessel consisting of No.1 wall etc. facing plasma and the breeding material as a filler, and forming a space between the vessel inner wall and the lining plate. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 3 consisting of an inclining function material with heat insulativeness has metal parts 7, 7 at the ends, and thereby can be joined by welding to a blanket vessel 1 and a lining plate 4. The spacer has also a heat insulation 8 in the middle, and therewith suppresses heat conduction to the blanket vessel 1 side of No.1 wall etc., which has a low temp. while cooled from the lining plate 4 side in contact with a high temp. breeding material. Thereby the temp. of the spacer 3 in its portion contacting the lining plate 4 can be held at the same level as that of the lining plate 4, so that the breeding material contacting the lining plate in the neighborhood of welds of the spacer 3 is free from temp. drop, and continuous tritium collection can be conducted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a cooling water path with easy construction in a blanket provided with slits in poroidal direction and radial direction and obtain a cooling water path capable of efficiently mitigating thermal stress.
      SOLUTION: In the front part contacting the first wall of each partitioned shield, 4 headers 11 are provided in 4 directions. A multitude of cylindrical holes 13 with stop end are punched in parallel in radial direction of the shield 5 from each header 11, they are connected with vertical holes 14 and the vertical holes are connected each other with horizontal holes 15. To each cylindrical hole 13, inner tubes 16 are inserted from the header and the base ends are welded to fix to the open end of the cylindrical holes 13 to form double cooling water paths 17 go back and forth with the inner tubes 16 and the cylindrical tubes 13. Only two adjacent headers 11 left and right upper side among 4 headers 11 of each shield 5 are connected. The two adjacent headers 11 left and right lower side not connected are provided with cooling water introducing holes 18 and cooling water exhausting holes 19 in the radial direction.
