    • PURPOSE: To fix a superconducting wire material inside a coil, to restrain a locally produced crack from spreading, and to easily carry out a winding operation by a method wherein superconductors coated with glass cloth are wound in layers in both an axial direction and a radial direction and impregnated with organic resin. CONSTITUTION: Superconductors 1 coated with glass cloth 3a are wound on and impregnated with epoxy resin 2 to form a superconducting coil. Epoxy resin 2 is filled in between the adjacent superconductor layers 1 through the intermediary of the glass cloth 3a. The glass cloth 3a is wound on so as to produce a gap between the adjacent turns of the superconductors 1. Furthermore, the layers of the superconductors 1 adjacent to each other in a radial direction are made to deviate from each other in an axial direction. By this setup, superconductors are fixed inside a coil, a locally produced crack is restrained from spreading, and a winding operation can be easily executed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a firm insulated structure being excellent in assembling properties by a method wherein a projection and a recession are formed in the parts of connection of members to be connected with each other, respectively, and an insulating key prepared by joining a metal material on the surface of an insulating material is interposed between the projection and the recession. CONSTITUTION:Members 6a and 6b to be connected with each other are connected by an insulating key 11. This insulating key 11 has a three-layer structure and the central layer is formed of an insulating material 2, while the opposite-side layers are formed of metal materials 3a and 3b. The parts of connection of the members 6a and 6b to be connected have fit shapes with a projection formed on the member 6a side and with a recession formed on the member 6b side, and the insulating key 11 is struck in between the opposite lateral sides of these projection and recession. As to a strength against loads 5a and 5b, in this case, only a compressing force is generated in the insulating key 11 in comparison with a usual case where shearing occurs in a key the whole of which is constructed of an insulating substance, and accordingly a load resistance of the parts of connection is increased. Since the contact surface of the key 11 is formed of the metal material, in addition, the key can be struck in with ease.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress quenching due to frictional heat incident to the movement of a superconducting wound body by a structure wherein a coolant passage is made in a fixing metal on the radial inner side viewed from the superconducting wound body side by notching the surface part touching a superconducting wire and a coolant passage is made in a fixing metal on the radial outer side by leaving the surface part touching the superconducting wire. SOLUTION: A wound body of superconducting wire 1 is secured integrally by an impregnated resin 2 and a helium passage 4a is made in a fixing metal 4 on the radial outer side viewed from the wound body while leaving the surface part touching the superconducting wire. A helium passage 6a is made in a fixing metal 6 on the radial inner side viewed from the wound body while notching the surface part touching the superconducting wire. The helium passage 4a in the fixing metal 4 is circular and the helium passage 6a in the fixing metal 6, is formed by notching the side wall touching the superconducting wire 1. Number of the helium passages 6a is larger than that of the helium passages 4a and thereby the area of helium passages 6a is significantly larger than that of the helium passages 4a.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a superconducting coil in which respective superconducting wires are bonded firmly without lowering the operability of a winding operation and which can eliminate the fear of a quenching operation by a method wherein the cross-sectional shape of every superconducting wire is formed to be an oval shape and the arrangement of the cross section of coils by the superconducting wires which are wound in a plurality of rows and a plurality of steps is formed to be lattice-shaped. CONSTITUTION: Superconducting wires 1A which use a drawn material having an oval shape are wound in such a way that every short-diameter side 1a of the oval shape is wound in the up-and-down direction, and every close contact face having a narrow area is formed on opposite faces 1b of the superconducting wires 1A which are adjacent in a plurality of rows and a plurality of steps. Then, the cross section of coils by the respective superconducting wires 1A is arranged to be lattice-shaped, gaps 2A are formed on the outer circumference of the respective arranged coils, the gaps 2A as a whole are impregnated with an insulating resin, and the coils are brought into close contact by a tightening force by a glass cloth 3. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a superconducting coil in which the respective superconducting wires 1A are bonded firmly without lowering the operability of a winding operation and which eliminates the fear of the generation of a quenching operation.
