摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a highly pure, highly strong and highly heat-resistant ceramic composite material which is expected as a radiation-reducing material capable of being applied to the inner wall of a nuclear fusion reactor and the like. SOLUTION: This method for producing a ceramic reinforcing fiber/ceramic matrix composite material comprises impregnating a silicon carbide fiber woven fabric or silicon carbide staple fibers as reinforcing fibers with a polycarbosilane, a cyclic polysilazane and/or a polyvinyl silane as an organic silicon polymer, molding the impregnated woven fabric or fibers, irradiating the molded product with ionizing radiation, and subsequently sintering the obtained infusible molded product in an inactive gas. The organic silicon polymer may contain silicon carbide crystal powder, silicon nitride crystal powder, or the powder of a high melting point compound comprising a transition metal and carbon, nitrogen and boron.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified fluoro resin powder having excellent frictional resistance by using a modified fluoro resin having a specified or lower melting point and a specified or smaller heat of crystallization. SOLUTION: A fluoro resin in a state heated to a temperature 10-30 deg.C above its melting point in the absence of oxygen is irradiated with an ionizing radiation selected among γ-rays, electron beams, Xrays, neutron rays, etc., in a dosage of 1 kGy to 10 MGY. The resin is then mechanically ground to obtain a modified fluoro resin powder having a mean particle diameter of 1 mm or below, a melting point of 325 deg.C or below and a heat of crystallization of 40 J/g or below. The fluoro resins used include tetrafluoroethylene polymers, tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymers and tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymers. Next, the resin powder alone or together with an unmodified polymeric material or an inorganic material is pressure-molded to obtain a molded product having a content of the resin powder of 1-100 wt.%.

摘要： PURPOSE: To be able to accurately measure a dose of a wide range for a long period by detecting the quantity of the decomposed gas from an organic polymer material produced by the irradiation with radioactive rays. CONSTITUTION: The molecular bond of an organic polymer material 3 dissociates due to the irradiation with radioactive rays, and mainly releases gas such as hydrogen molecules. Then, the quantity of the decomposed gas from the material 3 placed in a vessel 1 maintained in a vacuum state or filled with inert gas is detected based on the radiation of the ray to measure the dose. That is, the material 3 is put in the vessel 1, the vessel 1 is evacuated in vacuum by a vacuum pump 8, and then sealed by a gas burner. After the material 3 is irradiated with radioactive rays, it is inserted in a vessel 2. Further, the vessel 2 is evacuated in vacuum, the vacuum state is confirmed by a pressure gage 10, then a vacuum cock 6 is closed, the end of the vessel 1 is broken by a breaker 5, and the quantity of the generated decomposed gas is measured with the gage 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an insulated electric wire excellent in heat resistance by forming a spirally covering layer of Si-O-N fiber containing a specific quantity of oxygen as an insulating layer on a surface of a metal conductive wire. CONSTITUTION:Polycarbosilane or polysilazane is spinned into fiber, heated at 200-300 deg.C in an atmosphere where oxygen concentration is controlled or irradiated by ionizing radiation to induce cross-linking to make the fiber infusible, and baked at 700-1700 deg.C in an NH3 gas current to manufacture Si-N-O fiber of oxygen con tent 0.1-15weight%. This fiber is processed by inorganic varnish wherein ceramics precursor polymer such as polycarbosilane or polysilazane is dissolved by xylene and the like, and spirally wound on a surface of conductive wire such as a Cu wire to form an insulating layer, so that an insulated wire excellent in heat resistance can be manufactured.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten an irradiation time by composing the device of a beam irradiation container part which irradiates an object body with a particle beam in an airtight state and a stabilization processing container part for stabilizing the irradiated body in the airtight state. After the irradiation in the beam irradiation container part, the airtight shutter 1 of the beam irradiation container part and the irradiated body are taken out and the airtight shutter 15 of the container part is connected; after shutters 1 and 15 of the both are opened, a manual rod 17 is operated to move a palette 2 containing the irradiated sample to the stabilization processing part and the airtight shutters 1 and 15 are closed. Thus, the stabilization processing is performed while the airtight state is maintained.
