CONSTITUTION:A chrominance signal of a carrier frequency fsc from an input terminal 1 is inputted to a converter 12 via an ACC circuit 11, converted into a low frequency chrominance signal of a carrier frequency fLSC, picked up from a chrominance signal output terminal 7 at recording via an LPF 13 and a killer amplifier 14, and synthesized with a luminance signal at a recording amplifier for recording. Further, an output signal SN of a voltage controlled oscillator 18 is frequency-divided into the carrier frequency fLSC of the low frequency chrominance signal at a frequency division circuit 19 and connected to a phase selection circuit 20. The circuit 20 selects the phase of an input signal Sc of a converter 21 to shift the phase of the chrominance signal by 90 deg. per 1H for the NTSC system and by 45 deg. for the PAL system, and the output signal of the converter 21 is inputted to the converter 21 via a BPF 22.

    • PURPOSE:To compensate blur of contours and to increase the S/N ratio of a VTR by reversing the transfer characteristics of a line correlating circuit during reproduction with those of a detail emphasizing circuit in the vertical direction during recording. CONSTITUTION:A line correlating circuit during reproduction is provided with an 1-horizontal-line delay circuit 13 having a band wide enough to make even a video signal pass through it, a video limiter circuit 10, a subtracter 9, and an adder 14. After a video signal Vin from a terminal 12 is subtracted by the subtracter 9 from a video signal preceding it by one horizontal line, the small smplitude component of a signal passed through the circuit 10 is added to the difference to emphasize a vertical detail component. The correlating circuit during recording is constituted into a feedback type by using said 1-horizontal- line delay circuit 13, video limiter circuit 10, and subtracters 9 and 11. Then, the output VP of the VDE circuit is the same as the signal Vin and vertical contour correction by the VDE circuit and the improvement of an S/N ratio by the line correlating circuit are optimized to obtain a natural picture free of a vertical contour blur.

CONSTITUTION:A VTR mechanism part 60 is arranged at a left side, and a VTR board 30 is arranged at a right side so that the insertion port of a VTR cassette can be arranged at the left side in order to hold a video camera in a right hand. Therefore, a camera PC board 20 which frequently operates the transmission and reception of a signal with the board 30 is arranged at the right side of the camera, and an AF board 40 is arranged at the left side. It is necessary to arrange a power source 50 to be close to a CCD 11 whose signal level is the lowest, and to shorten the ground wiring between both of them. There is no space to mount the power source 50 at the board 10 on which the CCD 11 is mounted, and then the power source 50 is mounted on the board 30, and the shield case is brought into contact with the shield case of the CCD 11 on the board 10. And also, at least one of those shield cases is provided with elasticity, or equipped with a plate spring or the like. And also, an AV connector is provided on the board 30 so that a video signal from an outside can be received.

    • PURPOSE:To reproduce a chroma signal by non-linearly deemphasizing a reproduced signal and deemphasizing a burst signal for specific amounts. CONSTITUTION:The output of an emphasis circuit 35 is made into a low frequency chroma signal in a frequency conversion circuit 6, mixed with a luminance signal, etc., in an LPF 7, and recorded in a tape. A low frequency converted chroma signal is selected through a reproducing head 10 by an LPF 11, amplified to a prescribed level in an ACC amplifier 12 and a detector 13, and mixed with a converted carrier signal generated in a converter 22 and selected in a BPF 21 in a converter 14, the output signal of the ACC 12 becomes the chroma signal of an ordinary frequency band, and an unnecessary spurious component is removed in a BPF 15. A crosstalk signal from an adjacent track is removed in a comb line filter circuit 16. The input/output characteristic of a deemphasis circuit 36 is made into the inversion of the characteristic of the circuit 35. For a burst signal level, the level is restored in a burst deemphasis circuit 17. Thus, the reproduced chroma signal of a terminal 18 is mixed with a reproduced luminance signal and reproduced as a video signal.
