摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the detection performance by automatically correcting the angle of the detection region in response to the vertical fluctuation of the vehicle attitude due to the quantity of a load in a device detecting the distance from an object immediately before a running vehicle to generate an alarm. CONSTITUTION:This warning device has a mobile section 1a containing a radiator 11 radiating electromagnetic wave or ultrasonic wave beams, a receiver 12 receiving the reflected signal of the radiated signal, and a detecting means 13 detecting the value corresponding to the inter-vehicle distance from the time until the signal is received by the receiver 12 and a program control circuit 2 outputting a signal when this value becomes lower than a preset value. When a load is loaded on a vehicle and the displacement quantities between a frame 3 and an axle 4 are detected by a front wheel displacement sensor 22 and a rear wheel displacement sensor 23, the drift of the radiated electromagnetic waves from the preset radiation angle is calculated based on the preset control equation from the displacement quantities of front wheels and rear wheels in the parking state, and correction quantities of the radiator 11 and the receiver 12 are calculated and outputted to a drive control means 15.
