When steering of a steeing wheel W is changed around a the king pin shaft K, a ball joint 23 to support the upper end of the pull rod 20 moves in a horizontal plane, and pulls the pull rod 20 and the A type arm 21 upward. As a result, the suspension spring 18 whose lower end is supported with the pull rod 20 is compressed, and self-aligning torque is generated so as to restore the steering wheel W to a neutral position. Since the A type arm 21 is pivoted on a vehicle body 6 by two rubber bush joints 25 and 26, vehicle body longitudinal directional deflection can be reduced on the lower end of the suspension spring 18.
