摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent torsion and slackness of a tape from occurring in a process of tape loading by fitting posts to bases capable of moving two-dimensionally and three-dimensionally respectively and moving these bases in synchronization with each other. CONSTITUTION:The base 5 fitted with rollers 2, 3 and 4 is guided by a three- dimensional guide groove, while the base 9 fitted with a slant pin 7 and a roller 8 is guided by a two-dimensional guide groove 10, and these are movably provided. Then, these bases 5 and 9 are fitted to two guide bases provided underneath, and are moved in synchronization with each other, so as to make the positions and directions of the moving posts to be in geometrical positions where torsion and slackness do not occur on the magnetic tape 11. Then, in a process of separating the magnetic tape 11 from a rotary cylinder 1, the rollers 2, 3 and 8 are brought under the state of being drawn into an opening part of the cassette, and hence the number of rollers to be moved into the opening part is suppressed to a min.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain a magnetic head support mechanism optimum to a high speed access, a control method for the support mechanism, and a magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:On of both ends of a support part 3 is supported at rotatable rigid arm pert 4, and an air pressure control means 7 obtained by shaping the part 3 itself is provided on the counter face to a magnetic disk 1 which is close to the free end of the part 3. A magnetic head 2 is attached to a magnetic head attachment part 31 set approximate orthogonal to a positive pressure generating part 71 of the means 7. The part 71 includes a tapered part 711 and a flat part 712 end forms an air spring with a relative motion to the disk 1 to float the head 2 with a floating extent equivalent to the head pressure load generated by a rotational angle gamma of the part 3. Thus an optional floating extent or a contact face secured to the disk 1 can be obtained with change of the angle gamma.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stably keep the contact of a head with the tape to prevent a recording tape floating, and to feed the tape with high accuracy by forming a rotary drum in a large dimeter as being separated from a fixed drum, providing a groove with a small dimeter at the rotary drum, and inclining a guide post. CONSTITUTION:A part where the head 16 of the rotary drum 2 is provided is formed in cylindrical shape, and its diameter is formed at the same size as that of the recording tape winding plane 10 of the fixed drum 4. Therefore, the tape 6 wound on a fixed drum 4 side can be also wound on the rotary drum 2 smoothly, which keeps satisfactory contact with the head 16. Furthermore, by arranging a conical outer peripheral part 20 whose diameter is formed so as to become larger sequentially at a position in a direction separated from the fixed drum 4, the tape 6 can be fed as being pressed on a lead 8. Also, by providing the groove with the small diameter at the rotary drum 2, the floating of the tape on the drum can be controlled. Furthermore, a tensile force at the fixed drum 4 side can be increased, thereby, the contacting state of the head 16 with the tape 6 can be stably kept.
