    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform operations of maintenance, inspection and management of a base-isolating device fire-resistively covered with a fire resistive covering material.SOLUTION: A column 21 of a building is structurally split into two lower and upper sections, that is to say, downside and upside column bodies 21a and 21b, and a base-isolating device 31 is disposed between the downside and upside column bodies 21a and 21b. On two sides directed in mutually reverse directions with respect to the base-isolating device 31, a pair of upside fixed-type fire resistive covering materials 42a1 is fixed to the upside column body 21b, and a pair of downside fixed-type fire resistive covering materials 42a2 is fixed to the downside column body 21a. On the other two sides with respect to the base-isolating device 31, a pair of upside movable-type fire resistive covering materials 42b1 is attached to the upside column body 21b in such a manner as to be freely openable/closable via a hinge, and a pair of downside movable-type fire resistive covering materials 42b2 is attached to the downside column body 21a in such a manner as to be freely openable/closable via a hinge.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent form for cement mortar using a burst resistant cement mortar for solving the problem of the conventional cement mortar that it bursts by receiving thermal stress caused by abrupt heating, for example the surface temperature is abruptly raised to 700°C.SOLUTION: The permanent form for cement mortar comprises the burst resistant cement mortar which formulates a cement, water, cellulose fiber, fine aggregate, and, if needed, a variety of additives, and which has a water cement ratio of 40-75%. In the burst resistant cement mortar, even when abruptly heated and received thermal stress, the steam pressure generated from internal moisture 3 in the cement mortar distributes in the arrow mark 6 direction via an escape way formed by e.g. carbonized cellulose fiber 5' so as to prevent the cement mortar from being bursted from the inside thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp fiber mat excellent in handleability.
SOLUTION: A method for producing a heat-insulating pulp fiber mat includes putting a first surface material M1 on an air-permeable bottom wall 12, spraying pulp fibers together with an adhesive on the first surface material M1 in side walls to form a first pulp fiber layer S1, putting a second surface material M2 on a first pulp fiber layer S1, spraying pulp fibers together with an adhesive on the second surface material M2 to form the second pulp fiber layer S2, forming a laminate 30 having four laminated pulp fiber layers by such procedure, putting a steel plate for compression on the laminate 30, compressing the laminate, removing the steel plate, putting an air-permeable upper lid on the upper surface of the laminate 30, carrying the laminate 30 held by the mold and the upper lid in a drying oven, using a drier to dry the laminate with hot air, and then removing the mold and the upper lid to obtain the heat-insulating pulp fibers mat.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a plurality of fireproof glass sheets in which adjacent fireproof glass sheets can be connected without sash frames. SOLUTION: The end faces 406 of the right and left sides oppositely arranged, of adjacent fireproof glass sheets 4, are arranged with a space between them. The right and left sides of the fireproof glass sheets 4 facing coach other are connected through L-shaped steel members 32, heat-resistant fiber 34, and fire- resistant seals 36. The steel members 32 are attached to the corners of the right and left sides of the mutually facing fireproof glass sheets 4. The heat- resistant fiber 34 is vertically arranged at the end faces 406 of the right and left sides of the fire-resistant glass sheets 4 and at the position except the part near the front and rear faces. A mat-form alumina silicate fiber material can be used as the heat-resistant fiber 34. The fire-resistant seals 36 are arranged at the upper and lower parts of the fireproof glass sheets 4 to cover the space between the end faces 406 at the front and rear sides of the heat-resistant fiber 34.
