    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible fuel vehicle capable of certainly performing low temperature starting by ensuring fuel volatility required for the low temperature starting.
      SOLUTION: In the flexible fuel vehicle, alcohol-mixed gasoline of optional alcohol concentration stored in a fuel tank 20 is fed to an engine to travel. The vehicle is provided with: an alcohol concentration detection means 28 for detecting an alcohol concentration of the alcohol-mixed gasoline; a temperature detection means 30 for detecting an outside air temperature; a vehicle side oil feed system having a gasoline feed port 21G and an alcohol feed port 21A communicated with fuel tank; and an actuator 38 capable of locking a fuel lid 32A of the alcohol feed port 21A of the vehicle side oil feed system based on the detection results of the alcohol concentration detection means and the temperature detection means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel changeover control method for a bi-fuel engine capable of suppressing deterioration in exhaust gas performance, a lowering of power performance and worsening of fuel economy performance regardless of the composition ratio of LPG fuel. SOLUTION: A liquid phase temperature in an LPG cylinder 16 for storing LPG fuel is detected by a temperature sensor 20, and a gas phase pressure is detected by a pressure sensor 22. Based on the detected results, the propane/butane ratio of LPG fuel is obtained. The heating value or octane number of the LPG fuel is obtained from the obtained propane/butane ratio, and a fuel injection quantity or ignition timing is determined based on the heating value or octane number obtained when shifting to LPG operation.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control apparatus in which the generation of particulate substances and the clogging of ejection holes in an exhaust fuel addition valve are prevented even if a fuel containing bio fuel at a high concentration is used, when fuel addition control for adding fuel to exhaust gas is performed based on a state of an exhaust purification device. SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control apparatus includes: a fuel injection device 80 for injecting fuel into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine 10; and an exhaust fuel addition valve 88 for injecting fuel on an upstream side from an exhaust purification device 55 in an exhaust passage 50. Based on a state of the exhaust purification device, the exhaust emission control apparatus performs the fuel addition control for adding fuel to the exhaust gas. The exhaust emission control apparatus also includes: a detection estimation means 128 for detecting or estimating a concentration of the bio fuel contained in the fuel; and a control means 100 for controlling the fuel injection device and the exhaust fuel addition valve. The control means performs an injection of fuel for the fuel addition control by separating the injection into a fuel injection by the fuel injection device and an fuel injection by the exhaust fuel addition valve, when a concentration of the bio fuel is equal to or larger than a prescribed concentration which has been previously determined.
