    • PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode member which has simple structure and securely operates by making liquid contacting exposed heads conductive up to the outer peripheral end surface of a seal material by a conductor sealed in the seal material, and using it as an electrode for feeding electricity to liquid in a duct. CONSTITUTION:The electrode member 1 is fitted penetrating a flange connection part positioned at a proper interval in the lengthwise direction of the duct as well as a normal gasket. The member 1 is so constituted that the seal material 2 operates as a seal for precluding a leak between flanges and the conductor 3 charged in the seal material 2 is insulated from a tube body 6, but operates as the electrode conducting to the liquid running in the tube through the liquid contacting exposed heads 3A. If a coating 8 has a damage 9, the metallic tube body 6 contacts the in-tube liquid at the position of the damage, so the tube body 6 serves as a terminal conducting to the in-tube liquid at the coating damage part. Therefore, whether there is the coating damage and its presence position are decided from the input/output relation between electric signals of terminals 4 and 4 of two members 1 and 1 arranged in the duct at a proper interval and a terminal 10 connected to the tube body 6, i.e., three terminals in total.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet in-water joining method by which an impervious sheet does not rise from water, an in-water weld quality as same as that in an onshore operation is attained and the time and the cost in the welding work are reduced. SOLUTION: A waterproof heat generator 12 obtained by covering a metallic body 13 with a thermoplastic resin-made covering material 14 is inserted in water between end parts 10a, 11a of two impervious sheets 10, 11 and the covering material 14 and the impervious sheets 10, 11 are welded by heat-generating of the metallic body 13 by a waterproof electromagnetic induction heater 15 applied on the impervious sheets 10, 11. As a result, in-water weld quality as same as that in an onshore operation is attained and the time and the cost in the welding work are reduced without surfacing the impervious sheet 10, 11 from water.       SOLUTION: An electric heating element 32 is disposed annularly like a closed loop at a pipe end opposition part 30 or a step part between pipe bodies in the part of mutual connection of the pipe bodies 10 and 20 having resin coats 12 and 22 provided, while a thermally adhesive resin 33 is also disposed annularly in a state of covering the electric heating element 32, and then an open loop 34 of a conductor is disposed temporarily in the pipe and electrified. Thereby the electric heating element 32 is made to heat by induction heating, so as to weld the thermally adhesive resin 33 to the resin coats on the opposite sides in a bridging manner. In this pipeline, the isolation between the inside and the outside of the pipeline is enhanced by the integration of the resin coats of the connecting part and moreover stagnation or sticking of contents and damage of the resin coats of the pipe end parts are prevented by extinction/reduction of an annular groove of the connecting part.

SOLUTION: A lining layer 2 by means of a high polymer viscoelastic material is installed on an inner circumferential surface of a metal drum outer hull 1, and further it is laminated on an inner circumferential surface of the lining layer 2 and an inner surface layer 3 by means of a material being large in acoustic impedance is installed. Here, a vibration produced by conveyance or the like of a hard member is propagated to the lining layer 2 consisting of the high polymer viscoelastic material as an elastic wave, and thereby in the layer, the vibration is absorbed into wane owing to viscoelasticity of the lining layer 2 as repeating the reflection in space between interfaces (a boundary surface 4 with the drum outer hull as well as a boundary surface 5 with the inner surface layer) at both sides consisting of coming into contact with a layer being larger in the acoustic impedance than the layer, and thus any possible noises is held down to lowness. In this connection, the lining layer is 3 to 15 N/cm or so in compressive hardness, and thickness of the inner surface layer should be set to a range of 30 to 1000 μm.
