摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material superior in shelf stability of image and non-image portion, by a method wherein a specific amino compound is contained in the thermal recording material made of an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound reacting with the aromatic isocyanate compound under heat to develop color. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material consisting of an aromatic isocyanate compound and an imino compound which reacts with the aromatic isocyanate compound under heat to develop color and has at least one C=NH group, an amino compound shown by a formula I is contained. In the formula I, R1, R2, R3, and R4 represent hydrogen, halogen, alkoxy group, or alkyl group, and R1 and R3 may form a sulfonyl group in common with each other. By using the aforesaid amino compound, a thermal recording material superior in shelf stability of image and in shelf stability of non-coloring portion (sheet surface) can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance image preservability, especially, light fastness, in a recording material consisting of a specific fluorene dye precursor and a developer for allowing said precursor to form a color through the reaction therewith, by compounding an aromatic isocyanate compound and a specific imino compound. CONSTITUTION:An imino compound has at least one group represented by formula 1 and is represented by formula II (wherein phi is an aromatic compound residue capable of forming a conjugated system along with adjacent C=N) and is a colorless or light- colored compound solid at ambient temp. Each of the imino compound and an aromatic isocyanate compound is used in a amount of 1% or more by wt. of a dye precursor. When a developed color image obtained from a fluorene dye precursor represented by formula III (wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are respectively a lower alkyl group) and a developer is exposed to sunrays, the image is deteriorated within a short period and the sufficient absorption of a near infrared region is not obtained but, by using the imino compound and the aromatic isocyanate compound, the obtained image holds the absorption of the near infrared region even when exposed to sunrays for a long period of time and the deterioration thereof is markedly prevented by the interaction of both compounds.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance image preservability and heat response characteristics and enable a sufficient developed color image to be obtained even with low energy, by providing a thermal color forming layer comprising as color forming components a reactant of a specified imino compound and a co-reactant of an aromatic isocyanate compound capable of reacting with the reactant when being heated, on the surface of a base. CONSTITUTION:The thermal color forming layer comprising a colorless or light-colored reactant and a co-reactant capable of reacting with the reactant when being heated as color forming components is provided on the face side of the base, and an adhesive layer is provided on the back side. The reactant is an imino compound of formula (1), wherein (x) is halogen, (n) is an integer of 0-4, and A is C=O or C=NH. The co-reactant is an aromatic isocyanate compound of formula (2), namely. 2,5-dimethoxy-4,4',4''-triisocyanate-triphenyl amine. Accordingly, a developed color image with a purplish hue can be obtained. In addition, a releasable paper is provided on the surface of the adhe sive layer capable of adhering to a separate solid surface.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise sensitivity and provide an excellent image retention property by a method wherein an isocyanate adduct compound having a specific melting point and a compound which develops colors by thermally reacting with the isocyanate adduct compound are blended in a heat sensitizing agent. SOLUTION: An isocyanate adduct compound having a melting point of 40 deg.C or higher and a compound which develops colors by reacting with the isocyanate compound are blended to prepare a heat sensitizing agent. As the isocyanate adduct compound, that which expressed by the formula (n represents an integer of 1-2, and an hydrogen atom of a benzene ring may be substituted by aromatic compound residue, aliphatic compound residue, and heterocyclic compound residue) is preferable. Further, a thermal recording sheet can be manufactured by providing the thermosensitive color developing layer containing the obtained heat sensitizing agent on a base material. As a concrete example of a compound which develops colors by thermal reaction with the isocyanate adduct compound, there is a leuco dye or the like.
