    • PURPOSE:To conduct such work as inspection repair and the like of components in reactor with remote operation easily, surely and efficiently. CONSTITUTION:A remote work device in reactor conducts inspection and repair of in-core components placed on reactor wall 1a inner surface or on the location in a reactor l. Provided are a component treatment device 2 which is placed above the reactor 1 and performs transport: in and out each work component, a guiderail 6 hung down in the work position in the reactor with the component treatment device 2, guiderail fixing means 7, 8 to fix and hold the guiderail 6 detachably inside the reactor 1, a work aid arm 9 which holds equipments visually catching inside the reactor 1 or jig mechanically aiding and is provided movablly along with the guiderail 6 and capable of stopping at an arbitrary elevation position at any elevation position in the core, and a work machine 12 which is aided by the work aid arm 9 via a jig and conduct repair fabrication of in-core structure by the remote control after hung down in the reactor.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the method and device capable of concurrently inspecting the inside of a reactor core shroud. CONSTITUTION:An inspection apparatus, a repairing tool, and their installation jigs or assembly parts formed in size to be inserted into openings 3a, 4a of an upper lattice plate 3 or a core support plate 4 are prepared. Installation jigs 8 or assembly parts are hung into a core shroud 2 with a crane 5 from above a reactor vessel 1. They are assembled in the core shroud 2 to install the installation jigs 8. The inspection apparatus and the repairing tool are installed on the installation jigs 8 to inspect and repair the inside of the core shroud 2. A remote control swimming robot 9 having a thrust means is used for support via pressing, holding, and positioning actions during the process to insert the installation jigs 8, inspection apparatus, repairing tool or their assembly parts into the opening sections 3a, 4a of the upper lattice plate 3 or the core support plate 4 and the process to assemble or install them in the core shroud 2.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of letter engraving process by applying a numerical control (NC) system controlled by a computer having built-in a control program to be used exclusively for the process of engraving letters and ideograms on an object. CONSTITUTION:Letters to be given an engraving process are inputted in a host computer 9 through a key board 10. Coordinates of the starting position of a process and a processing pattern of each letter are also inputted and, furthermore, kind, diameter and length of the tools to be used are determined. By following the above-mentioned steps, the computer 9 determines the processing patterns together with the processing terms of the cutting speed, the number of processing passes and the feed speed. Next, the said processing patterns and the terms are transmitted to an NC device 8, after being prepared in an NC program, and a start command is outputted to the device 8 from the computer 9 Hence, a letter engraving process is put into practice on a work 2, as an NC processing machine 1 operates, to automatically acquire a high quality letter engraved product without depending upon the hand work of a skilled worker.

    • PURPOSE:To previously prevent the generation of stress corrosion cracking by generating the collision of multiple metal or ceramics shots, which are accelerated by the high pressure air at a specified value or less of the pressure difference between the pressure of a blow-out port and the pressure of the peripheral environment, with each other so as to convert the residual stress of the surface of the structural material from the tension to the compression. CONSTITUTION:A first chamber 3, which is provided with a horizontal part having a first beak part 2 in the tip thereof and a vertical part, is provided opposite to the working surface of the structural material of a structure in a nuclear reactor. A second chamber 5, which surrounds the horizontal part of the first chamber 3 and which has a second slit 4 in the tip thereof, is provided. A shot nozzle 7 having a blow-out port 6 in the tip thereof is provided in the first chamber 3 so as to pass through the vertical part wall. Multiple metal or ceramics shots, which are accelerated by the high pressure air at 2kgf/cm or less of the pressure difference between the pressure of the blow-out port 6 and the pressure of the peripheral environment, are made to collide with each other so as to convert the residual stress of the working surface 1 from the tension to the compression.
