      CONSTITUTION: The objective waters-soluble cutting and grinding oil contains (A) an alkali metal salt and/or an amine salt of a oxidzed paraffin preferably having an acid value of about 20W200 and a saponification value of about 40W 500 and (B) an alkali metal salt and/or an amine salt of a ricinoleic acid polymer having an acid value of preferably about 40W150. The weight ratio of the component (A) to (B) is preferably about 10:90W90:10.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an anticorrosive for an aqueous medium having rust and corrosion preventing effects equal or superior to those of a conventional anticorrosive and causing no hygienic hazard during use by using an alkali metallic salt or an amine salt of 5-phenyl-2,4-pentadienic acid as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:This anticorrosive for an aqueous medium contains an alkali metallic salt or an amine salt of 5-phenyl-2,4-pentadienic acid represented by the formula as an effective component. Said alkali metal includes K, Na and Li, and said amine includes diethanolamine and monoisopropanolamine. The anticorrosive is used at about 0.05-2.0, especially about 0.2-1.0wt% concn. of the effective component in general. The anticorrosive is effectively applicable to water for a cooling system, water for hydraulic pressure for tanks, etc., water holding filled water and an aqueous medium contacting with a ferrous metal such as a water soluble abrasive material.
