摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicomponent effect yarn that can be a knitted or woven fabric having a desired visual effect, touch, and stretchability.SOLUTION: A synthetic polymer yarn is disclosed comprising a composite yarn and a second yarn that are integrated to form a single yarn. The composite yarn comprises a first component and a second component each comprising a fiber forming polymer and each having shrinkability different from each other in order to provide a bulking effect. The difference in shrinkability can be obtained by using for example different polymers or similar polymers having different relative viscosity. The synthetic polymer yarn of the invention advantageously showed improved visual effects including a stratification effect to improve a visual property of a product produced using the yarn. Further, the touch and stretchability of a fabric produced from the yarn are improved.
