    • PURPOSE:To make the generation of thermal stress in baffle plates difficult by a structure wherein a combustion chamber is provided at the inside of a corrugated inner shell and a baffle body is arranged in the interior of the inner shell so as to locate the tips of baffle plates at convex parts of the inner shell. CONSTITUTION:A square pole-shaped baffle body 15 with both ends closed is freely detachably provided in a combustion chamber 4. Segment-shaped baffle plates 16A and 16B are attached horizontally at proper intervals in 8 stages onto the respective four plane sides of the baffle body 15. Three slits 17 are provided in each baffle plate 16A, which lies in the lowest three stages. In addition, the tips of each baffle plate 16A, which lies in the lowest two stages, is arranged at the position of the convex part of the inner shell 1. Because the temperature of the baffle plate 16B is comparatively lower, no deformation of the baffle plate 16B occurs. On the other hand, the temperature of the baffle plate 16A becomes higher. However, the generation of thermal stress in the baffle plate 16A is difficult, because the baffle plate 16A is allowed to comparatively freely expand itself thermally due to the effect of the slits 17.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the attachment of an auxiliary heat exchanger and improve its heat exchanging efficiency by disposing the auxiliary heat exchanger in contact with the surface of the main heat exchanger and direction the flame port of burner to oppose the surface of the auxiliary heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A fire brick 21 is fitted under the bottom of the main heat exchanger 1, and an auxiliary heat exchanger 2 is attached in a tight contact with the inner surface of the heat exchanger 1. A burner 3 is attached to the main heat exchanger 1, and its flame port at the end is directed to oppose the ridge 17 of the auxiliary heat exchanger 2. By this arrangement, the thermal medium in the auxiliary heat exchanger is heated for the purpose of floor heating, hot water supply to bath etc., and the thermal medium in the main heat exchanger 1 is heated by the conductive heat from the auxiliary heat exchanger 2. In this instance, when the burning hot stream from the burner 3 is blown to the ridge 17 of the heat exchanger 2, the burning hot stream is divided into two, and the respective hot streams turn and flow along the inner circumferential surface to the end of the auxiliary heat exchanger 2, resulting in the uniform and efficient heating.

    • PURPOSE:To supply hot water from the begining when hot water is to be discharged out of a hot water supply pipe by causing the thermal medium having been heated in a heat exchanging part to exchange heat with the hot water inside the hot water supply pipe by its natural circulation inside the heating pipe of a closed circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the water inside a heat exchanger 2 is heated by igniting a burner 1 and blowing the burning hot stream onto the inner surface of the heat exchanger 2, the heated water is led out of the heat exchanger 2 through a hot water supply pipe 4, and can be discharged out of a tap 17. The burning hot stream from the burner 1 is also blown to the heating part 5 of a heating pipe 7. The heated thermal medium in the heating part 5 rises in the heating pipe 7 to enter into a heat exchanging part 6 where it exchanges heat with the hot water in the hot water supply pipe 4 to heat the hot water, and thereafter returns to the heat exchanging part 6 by the natural circulation. Therefore, the hot water in the hot water supply pipe 4 is always heated by the thermal medium, and does hot cool off in the hot water supply pipe 4 by releasing heat.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the welding area and consequently contrive to reduce the welding man-hours and the reliability of weld by a structure wherein two sheets of metal plates are rolled into one sheet of metal plate and, after that, inflated with high pressure air in order to form a multitubular once-through circuit and then wound into a roll so as to vertically weld the rolled-up ends with each other. CONSTITUTION:One sheet of metal plate, on which a multitubular once-through circuit is printed with anti-pressure welding agent, and the other sheet of metal plate, on which the similar treatment as above is applied, are rolled into one sheet of metal plate and, after that, inflated with high pressure air in order to form a multitubular once-through circuit and then wound into a roll so as to vertically weld the rolled-up ends with each other in order to form an inner shell 2 by the one sheet of metal plate and an outer shell 3 by the other sheet of metal plate. A connecting pipe 6 connects a first header lower 4 with a first header upper 5, while water pipes 8 connect the first header lower 4 with a second header 7. In addition, a hot water supplying port 9 is provided on the first header upper 5 and a feed water supplying port 10 is provided on the second header 7.
