    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a simple configuration capable of inhibiting blowing out of cold air even when at least one of a plurality of heat exchangers functions as an evaporator during heating operation. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner 1, in an air course 5 in which air is made to flow via an air blower 3, the plurality of heat exchangers 4A, 4B, 4C are arranged in series in the direction across the air course 5, and outdoor units 7A, 7B, 7C including different independent refrigerant systems, respectively are connected with the heat exchangers 4A, 4B, 4C. Shut-off means 9A, 9B, 9C each capable of shutting off flowing of air are provided with respect to the plurality of heat exchangers 4A, 4B, 4C.
