    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyoxyalkylene triamine usable in both batch and continuous systems, sufficiently active and selective in a low-pressure reaction, not requiring an assistant for selectivity improvement, not vulnerable to a catalytic poison such as water, and capable of providing a high conversion rate and selectivity under reaction conditions where the molar ratio of ammonia to the hydroxy groups is relatively small.
      SOLUTION: A polyoxyalkylene triol having hydroxy groups at its ends is brought into contact with ammonia and hydrogen for manufacturing the polyoxylalkylene triamine in the presence of a catalyst. In the catalyst, the ruthenium metal accounts for 0.5-20 wt.% of the total of the catalyst and is supported on at least one support selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, silica-alumina, titanium, and titanium-silica.
