    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly cure a fluid jetted onto a printing medium (a body to be coated) after its deposition.
      SOLUTION: A printing device comprises: a gas source; a print head 110 having a nozzle plate with a plurality of nozzles 130 fluidly connected to corresponding pumping chambers; and a gas outlet 155 positioned adjacent to the nozzle plate. The gas outlet 155 is in fluid communication with the gas source and the gas outlet 155 is configured to provide gas to an exposed surface of the nozzle plate so that the gas flow is substantially parallel to the surface of the nozzle plate. Fluid that is ejected out of a plurality of the nozzles 130 has a UV curable component. After the fluid has been ejected out of the nozzle 130 and onto a printing medium, the fluid is irradiated and cured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid droplet discharging device which is capable of increasing the droplet hitting number per unit time and an image recording device.
      SOLUTION: An ink passage member 12 includes a nozzle plate 26 where a plurality of nozzles 16 are formed and a passage plate 30 where a plurality of partition walls 28 constituting an ink passage 13 are formed. The nozzle plate 26 and the passage plate 30 are jointed with each other and the ink flows inside the ink passage 13. The partition walls 28 extend to the direction perpendicular to the extension direction of an ink pool, and a plurality of nozzles 16 correspond to one ink passage 13. Also, the center part of the extension direction of the partition walls 28 is divided to form a divided region B. By forming the nozzles 16 in the divided region B, compared with the case where the partition walls 28 are not divided, the flexibility of the nozzle configuration can be increased, and high-density of nozzle configuration can be achieved. That is, the droplet hitting number per unit time increases as the number of nozzles 16 increases.
