    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve replacing work performance by eliminating a mold-opening and closing cylinder from between a fixed disk and a movable disk while keeping a tie bar-free function.
      SOLUTION: A movable platen 4 is mounted via a linear motion guide 7 on a support plate 8 arranged on a base 1. An opening and closing means 10 comprising a servomotor 11 and a movement translator is arranged between the support plate 8 and the base 1. The opening and closing means 10 and a tie bar securing means 21 are operated to conduct opening and closing operations, and mold clamping force is obtained by a mold clamping cylinder 30 mounted in the movable platen 2.
