    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved two-part dental implant.SOLUTION: The two-part dental implant includes a distal shaft portion or distal implant portion and a proximal structure shaft portion or proximal implant portion, the distal and proximal implant portions which are in an interconnected condition at least indirectly adjoin each other at a connecting location and have mutually facing surfaces in the region of the connecting location. A seal which is formed by means of a sealing body is provided between the proximal implant portion and the distal implant portion and the seal seals off the oppositely disposed surfaces of the proximal and the distal implant portions in such a way that no germs and bacteria can enter.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe implant capable of providing a feeling like a natural tooth. SOLUTION: The implant 1 for fixing an artificial tooth 2 to an alveolar bone 3 includes a piezoelectric sensor 6 for generating a feeble electric current when pressurized. When the artificial tooth 2 is pressurized by occlusion, the pressure force is transmitted to the piezoelectric sensor 6 through an upper support base part 5, thereby compressing the piezoelectric sensor 6. The piezoelectric sensor 6 generates the feeble electric current C corresponding to the pressure force. Accordingly, the generated feeble electric current C stimulates a nerve existing close to the implant 1. Thus, a person senses the pressurization on the artificial tooth 2.
