    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture moldings with a coating material adhering to the surface, side and back of thermoplastic resin moldings, which undergo the step to inject the coating material under low pressure into a gap formed by an operation for opening the mold slightly. SOLUTION: The mold for intramold coating to be used is equipped with a subcavity which constitutes a part of the back of a main cavity 2 on the entire external circumference of the main cavity 2 and a movable insert 40 which moves back and forth in the subcavity inside the outer circumferential part, on the opposite coating face side, of the subcavity. In addition, a resin insert 50 with an inverted trapezoidal protrusion 51 is arranged in the main cavity 2 in such a state that the mold is opened and the mold is clamped, accompanied by an operation to fill the main cavity 2 with a molten resin 25 by injection. After that, a coating agent 60 is injected into the gap 24 formed by opening the mold slightly in such a state that the movable insert 40 is urged and the mold is again clamped. Further, the coating agent is cured inside the mold in such a way that the former is bonded monolithically on the surface of the thermoplastic resin moldings.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for in-mold coating and an in-mold coating method by which a molded article, wherein a paint is closely attached on the surface, the end surface and the rear surface in the vicinity of the end surface of a thermoplastic resin molded article, can be efficiently manufactured by a minute die-opening motion of the die. SOLUTION: After molding the thermoplastic resin molded article in the die, the die is opened by a specified gap, and a specified coating agent is injected in the space between the surface of the obtained thermoplastic resin molded article and the cavity surface of the die by a coating agent injecting machine. After the injection of the coating agent is completed, the die is clamped again, and the coating agent is hardened in the die. Thus, the molded article, wherein the coating agent is closely attached and integrated on the surface of the thermoplastic resin molded article, is manufactured by this die for in-mold coating. In such a die for in-mold coating, a movable core 1, a movable core 2 and a gate are provided. In this case, the movable core 1 communicates/shuts off a main cavity and a subsidiary cavity which extends to the total outer periphery of the main cavity, and at the same time, constitutes one section of the main cavity. The movable core 2 advances in/retracts from the subsidiary cavity on the internal side of the outer peripheral section on the side being opposite from the coated surface of the subsidiary cavity. The gate can control a valve which feeds a molten resin in the subsidiary cavity.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for lamination molding and a method for lamination molding capable of easily arranging a skin material and not leaving a mark of a suction hole on a surface of the skin material in a mold for laminating the skin material on a surface of a core material resin by arranging the skin material in one mold and laminating a core material molten resin on a rear surface of the skin material. SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, the mold for laminating the skin material on a front surface of the skin material by arranging the skin material in one mold and laminating a core material molten resin on a rear surface of the skin material comprises the suction hole for sucking the skin material at a split surface or a bitten part of the mold of the side for arranging the skin material out of a mold cavity. In a second embodiment, the method for lamination molding comprises the steps of arranging the skin material in the mold having the suction hole for sucking the skin material to the split surface of the bitten part of the mold out of the mold cavity, sucking the skin material, closely contacting the skin material and holding the material with the mold, then closing the mold and injection molding or injection press molding the skin material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of unevenness or an air mark and to enhance surface glossiness by releasing mold clamping force at a point of time reaching preset temp. when the temp. of a resin sheet during injection molding falls after reaches the highest temp. to hold the same only for a predetermined time. SOLUTION: The injection filling of a molten resin R is started to apply advance force to the injection screw 34 of an injection apparatus 30 to inject the molten resin in the amt. corresponding to the vol. of a mold cavity 5. During this period, the temp. of a resin sheet S is continuously measured and, at a point of time when the temp. of the sheet falls to preset temp. during temp. falling after reaching the highest temp., mold clamping force is released to start mold opening to form an air layer between the resin sheet S and the surface of the mold cavity 5 as a heat insulating layer. During this mold opening operation, the measurement of mold opening quantity is continued and, when it reaches preset mold opening quantity, a timer 66 is started to hold the mold opening quantity for the definite time set by the timer 66. After a definite time is elapsed, the mold is opened to take out a product.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supplement a volume reduction of resin in the case of cooling melted resin by lowering resin pressure in a mold cavity, cooling to solidify the melted resin near a mold splitting surface of the mold to form a skin layer on a surface, and then again loading a forwarding force to an injection screw. SOLUTION: In the dwelling step, a set time for giving a forwarding force to a screw 34 is set by a timer, then the force of the screw 34 is removed, a mold clamping force is released, and the a cooling step is started while retaining in the mold closing state. In the dwelling step, melted resin charged in a mold cavity 5 is proceeded in cooling as a time is elapsed, a skin layer is formed on a contact surface with the mold, and simultaneously volume reduction occurs in the case of cooling to solidify it. A skin layer of sufficient thickness is formed at resin in contact with a gap provided at parting surfaces, and a forwarding force is again loaded to the screw 34. The resin compressed by the force of the screw 34 flows into the cavity 5 to compensate for the volume reduction due to the cooling of the resin.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously realize the molding of a skin sheet and a molten resin and their lamination by a method wherein a fitst stage injection action is completed before the arrival of the temperature of the skin sheet to its deformable temperature by the fluid pressure of the molten resin and, after the temperature of the skin sheet has risen to its shapeable temperature through its contact with the molten resin, a second stage injection action and a dwell action are executed. SOLUTION: Under the condition that a mold clamping state is held by applying a mold clamping pressure after the completion of a mold clamping, a first stage injection is started so as to charge a core material in the cavity 5 of a mold through injection. The injection fill of the core material at this time is the volume of the molten resin, which fills the volume surrounded by the skin sheet (s) and the mold 3, for injection. The potential heat of the core material filling the cavity 5 of the mold is transmitted to the skin sheet (s). After the temperature of the skin sheet has risen to its shapable temperature through its contact with the molten resin, a second stage injection and filling is performed, resulting in contriving to completely shape the sin sheet (s) and the core material and turn them into an integral body.

When a closing time from a point of time that injection is completed until an inflection point where the rate of change becomes constant is longer than the largest set value, the clamping pressure at the next molding cycle is increased by a fixed rate and stored newly in a memory unit 27. When the closing time is shorter than the smallest set value, the clamping pressure is reduced.
