摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a radially compact assembly of planet gears and sun gears easily assembled by supporting obliquely a planet gear shaft such that the engaging positions between the planet gears and the sun gears are positioned in the approximately opposite sides with respect to the axis of a pair of sun gears.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of sun gears 7, 11 are arranged on a steering wheel S such that the teeth faces are opposed to each other, and between these sun gears are arranged planet gears 15, 16 mounted on both ends of a planet gear shaft 13 so that the planet gear shaft 13 is journalled obliquely in a bearing member 14 to position the engaging positions between the planet gears 15, 16 and the sun gears 7, 11 at the approximately opposite side to each other about the axis of the sun gears 7, 11. Thus, radially compact planet gear mechanism easily assembled can be provided. Also, since the respective gears 7, 11, 15 and 16 can be assembled to be somewhat pressed to each other, play between teeth can be eliminated to provide satisfactory engagement.
