    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite semipermeable membrane which has high permeation flux while maintaining removal performance of high solute, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The composite semipermeable membrane comprises as follows. After applying a solution of an organic solvent A containing a polymeric material on a base material, the base material is immersed in a solidifying bath and a fine porous support membrane is formed, the fine porous support membrane is washed by a cleaning bath, subsequently, after making a multifunctional amine aqueous solution contact on the fine porous support membrane, a solution of an organic solvent B containing a multifunctional acid halide is made to contact, and thereby a separation function layer containing a cross-linked polyamide on the fine porous support membrane is formed. In addition, the composite semipermeable membrane is characterized in that the solidifying bath is an aqueous solution which contains 20-40 wt.% of an organic solvent C, and the concentration of the organic solvent A in the fine porous support membrane after washing the fine porous support membrane by the cleaning bath is at most 10 wt.%.
