SOLUTION: The elastic gasket 124 sealing between the body member 112 equipped with the gasket retaining seal and the cover member 114 equipped with the gasket retaining groove 118 is provided with a gasket root 120 having a bottom seal lip 126 pressed in contact with the gasket retaining seat 113 of the body member 112 and a top seal lib 128 pressed in contact with a groove bottom 118(a) of the gasket retaining groove 118 of the cover member 114 extruding from the gasket root 120 upwards and provided with a groove fitting part 122 to fit to the gasket retaining groove 116. A seat stabilizing lip 136 having an end coming in contact with the gasket retaining seat 113 at both sides of a forming member of the bottom seal lip 126 is provided therein.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a steering wheel which can improve the operation feeling in a horn operating time by utilizing a vibration proof mechanism, even though the steering wheel has a horn switch mechanism and the vibration proof mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A horn switch mechanism H has the first and the second contact plates 1 and 6 in which contacts 4 and 9 are provided at two positions respectively, coil springs 16 provided between both plates 1 and 6 and to separate the both plates 1 and 6 each other; and guide pins 12 to guide the movements of the plates 1 and 6 when they are approached each other. A vibration proof mechanism V has installing plates 18 installed to specific positions, and vibration proof rubbers 19 provided by connecting the plates 18 and 1 at two parts between the plates 18 and 1. The disposing positions of the two contacts 4 and 9 of both the first and the second contact plates 1 and 6, and the two vibration proof rubbers 19 are arranged on the same plane form.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts so sharply as well as to abate the trouble of setting work by making up each of upper and lower tanks of resin material, while installing a setting part to a car panel, in a tip of the bracket, and forming a leg part to be elastically deformed by dint of spring force, in space between the base of each bracket and the setting part. CONSTITUTION:Both upper and lower tanks 1 and 2 are formed of resin material, the upper tank 1 is provided with a base part 42 of a bracket 4 st its top face, and a platelike leg part 43 extending more than the base part 42 is set up in consideration of the plate thickness so as to be deformabe in elastic curvedness. A tip of the leg part 43 is continued to an intermediate position of a platelike setting part 41. Likewise in the lower tank 2, a base part 52 of a bracket 5 is continued to the bottom part, and a platelike leg part 53 extending from the base part 52 is extended up to the lower tank 2. A tip of this leg part 53 is formed into a box type setting part 51. This leg part 53 is also set up in consideration of its plate thickness so as to display a specified spring force at the time of elastic deformation.

    • PURPOSE:To secure a vibration isolating rubber piece with good durability without subjecting the material to a drawing process, and facilitate adjustment of the stopper clearance. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 1 is bent into an approx. U-form opening to one side, and its open edge is further bent outside to constitute flanges 11 to serve for mounting. An inner cylinder penetrates a vibration isolating rubber piece 3 and is embedded in its center, and a retaining plate 31 is joined with each end face, and this is pushed from both end faces and contracted and is inserted in the bracket, and the retaining plates are put in pressure contact with the inner surfaces of the bracket side walls so as to establish fixation. The bracket is furnished at its top wall 13 with a stopper surface 13a confronting the side face 3a of the rubber piece with a certain spacing reserved in between, and a stopper plate 4 is set as covering the opening of the bracket and is provided with a stopper surface 4a which confronts the side face 3b of the rubber piece with a certain spacing held in between. The stopper clearance can be adjusted easily by changing the protruding amount of this stopper plate.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a steering wheel which causes less vibration and is superior in the feeling to operate a horn pad. CONSTITUTION:There is provided to a spoke core metal piece 13 of a boss part 1 a pin member 7, which extends upward through a through hole 23 of a supporting plate 21 which supports a horn pad 2. The supporting plate 21 is supported by a coil spring 3, and a cylindrical guide wall 4 is provided to the circumferential edge of the through hole 23, inside of which a sliding ring plate 5 is arranged. A cylindrical rubber elastic wall 6 is provided by connecting both ends of which to a base plate 71 fixed to the tip of the pin member 7 and the sliding ring plate 5. The spring force of the coil spring 3 is small, and when the horn pad 2 is pushed by the force which is a little larger than the spring force, the supporting plate 21 moves downward and horn switches 22, 14 are contact and energization is made. When the horizontal vibration is received by the boss part 1, the rubber elastic body wall 6 is shear-deformed, and a dynamic damper is constituted by means of a shear spring force and the mass of the horn pad 2, resulting in reduction of the received vibration thereby.
