    • PURPOSE:To attain to enhanced working efficiency and inspection accuracy, by automatically inspecting the shortcircuit and proximity inferiority of an IC lead frame in an inner lead part. CONSTITUTION:The image information in an inner lead part is detected by a CCD camera 5 and inputted to an image memory 62 through an input circuit 61. Each of an island part and a lead part is regarded as one island from the image data of said image memory 62. The number (M) of the islands are calculated to be compared with the number of islands preliminarily prescribed to a normal one and, when there is no difference, normality is judged and, where there is difference, it is judged that there is a shortcircuited area. Next, all of the input images of the memory 62 are applied to a logical filter under the address control of an address control circuit 64 and apparently enlarged to enlarge the original image to the circumference by one picture element. Next, predetermined processing is performed predetermined times on the basis of the image after filtering and the input images are enlarged by the number of picture elements corresponding to the processing number of times. In this case, the enlarging width in a normal state is preliminarily prescribed and the number of islands when the input images were enlarged by the prescribed width are compared with the number M of islands. When there is no difference, normality is judged and, when there is difference, proximity inferiority can be judged.

Then the information 35 is compared with the read picture information stored in a picture memory 12 and given from an industrial camera ITV 6 to confirm the absence a defective key top or the wrong array of key tops. If a defective key top or the wrong array of key tops exists, a stop signal is delivered and the keyboard assembler control part 14 stops the actuation of an automatic inspector for array of key tops. Then an alarm is delivered by a buzzer or a lamp to call an operator.

The character recognition device 7 then determines the contents of the character image, and sends it to an unillustrated physical control computer where it is processed. In this constitution, discriminated information can be rewritten and confirmed easily.

The rear end section of the preceding sheet 11 and the front end section of the succeeding sheet 15 are stuck to each other by adhesive tapes adsorbed in advance on vacuum-adsorption sections of both eccentric rollers 25, 26.
