    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate connection work and secure connection reliability. SOLUTION: An FPC 20 (flexible printed-circuit board) is housed in a case 10, and an end part of a conductor part 22 is arranged exposed on the upper side of this FPC 20. An intermediate peeled portion 35 in which a plurality of core wires stranded by removing the coating 32 are exposed is formed on the middle portion of a cable 30. The intermediate peeled portion 35 is connected by soldering in a state that after it is crushed in flat shape, the flat surface is contacted to the end part of the conductor 22.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate excessive bending of a lance while making the connector small in size.
      SOLUTION: The lance 12 is provided in a manner of exposure at the lower face of a connector housing. A retainer 15 comprises a terminal locking part 20 for locking to the female terminal fitting 7 and an excessive bending regulating part 16 extending to the front from this terminal locking part 20. When the retainer 15 is at the temporary locking position, the excessive bending regulating part 16 is positioned at the lower part of the lance 12 and even if the lance 12 tries to bend and deform surpassing the elastic limit, the tip of the lance 12 contacts the upper face of the excessive bending regulating part 16, thereby deformation exceeding that is not allowed. Therefore, excessive bending of the lance 12 can be evaded beforehand.
