EXAMPLE:N-Methoxycarbonylmethoxy-2-[4-(3,5-dichloro-2-pyridyloxy) phenoxy]propionamide. USE:Useful as a herbicide. The compound of formula I does not cause chemical injuries on broad-leaved crops and exhibits intergenetic selectivity on monocotyledon plants. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I is prepared by the reaction equation shown in this caption.
