At the time of reproducing, first of all, the medium identification code is reproduced and ciphered information is deciphered, and whether the optical recording medium is genuine or not is decided by using the medium discriminating code.

At the time of ejecting the cartridge 9 from the device 5, the inside of the case body 2 can be formed as the closed structure of negative pressure by stucking the shutter 41 to the packing 31 and the cartridge 9 is stored in the closed state.
