    • PURPOSE:To obtain a thin and lightweight polarizing material by using a polyamide-based resin in combination with a PVA resin, coating a specific photosetting resin on the resultant polarizing material and curing the coating. CONSTITUTION:A polymn. initiator as well as the photosetting resin compsn. consisting of a polyene compd. having at least one kind of the group selected from a group consisting of an amide bond group, imide bond group, etc., and/or multifunctional maleic acid deriv. and/or polythiol compd. in addition to a multifunctional (meth)acrylate having at least one kind of the group selected from the group consisting of an amide bond group, imide bond group, etc., are coasted on the polarizing material and the coating is photoset. For example, 4.0kg PVA and 6.0kg 6-nylon as the polyamide resin are kneaded and extruded at 235 deg.C resin temp. by a 30mmphi twin-screw extruder. The extruded resins are cooled to form pellets. Such resin compsn. is formed to a film having 20mum thickness by a T-die molding machine. The film contg. the polarizing element obtd. by immersing the above-mentioned film for 2sec in an water/methanol (50/50v/v) soln. contg. of 2wt% iodine, 10wt% potassium iodide is stretched 2.5 times at a room temp.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene-based polymer latex for gloves good in balance between softness stability with time, tensile strength and tensile elongation. SOLUTION: A method for producing the chloroprene-based polymer latex comprises the following process: 8-20 mass% of 2,3-dichlorobutadiene as a copolymerization monomer is copolymerized at a polymerization temperature(T) of 30-49°C, within such a range as to regulate the mass% of the 2,3-dichlorobutadiene by the function of T, so as to be 35-85 mass% of tetrahydrofuran insolubles in the final polymer. Thereby, the objective latex for gloves good in balance between softness stability and tensile properties such as tensile strength and tensile elongation is obtained.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polychloroprene based thermoplastic elastomer composition having self-extinguishing property and reusable in its original application.
      SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (A) a chloroprene hompolymer or a copolymer of chloroprene with a monomer copolymerizable with chloroprene and having a specific crystallization rate, (B) a copolymer of chloroprene, and a (meth)acrylate having two or more ethylenenically unsaturated functional groups and a monomer copolymerizable with these monomers and containing 70% or more of toluene insoluble component, wherein the composition is obtained by blending (A) and (B) in the mass ratio of (A):(B)=80-15:20-85 and (A)+(B)=100 mass.%. The molded product of the composition and the composition preferably comprises (C) a copolymer of chloroprene and 2, 3-dichloro-1, 3-butadiene and a monomer copolymerizable with these.
