    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability or reliability in a multitubular once-through type high-temperature regenerator by promoting the mixing and stirring of solutions in a lower header to solve the temperature difference and concentration difference as much as possible, thereby suppressing the corrosion of a heat transfer pipe or the like.
      SOLUTION: A diluted solution inlet pipe 22 and a downtake 28 are connected to two circumferentially separated positions of the lower header 41 of the high-temperature regenerator 1 so that the flowing directions are substantially matched with the tangential direction in the same circumferential direction of the lower header 41. According to such a structure, a circulating flow of solution is generated by the diluted solution from the inlet pipe 22 and the return solution from the downtake 28, and the mixing and stirring of the diluted solution and return solution differed in temperature and concentration are sufficiently performed to uniform the temperature difference and concentration difference between the solutions in the lower header 41 as much as possible. Consequently, the corrosion of the lower header 41 and the heat transfer pipe 43 can be prevented, and the durability and reliability of the high-temperature regenerator can be improved.
