    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system used for the purpose of supplementation of areas of ground cellular that can ensure traffic capacity of areas in which only satellite communication is available.
      SOLUTION: The mobile communication system is provided with a mobile communication service controller 7 including a home location register 9 that is connected to a ground cellular network and a mobile satellite communication network to manage location information and telephone numbers of mobile devices and a memory 10 that stores ground cellular area information, the system has a network operating modes of a ground cellular out-area priority mode where the satellite communication mode takes precedence at the outside of the ground cellular area and an ordinary mode where full spot beams are available without the priority mode, a mobile satellite communication channel control station 4 in the ground cellular out-area priority mode discriminates the availability of each spot beam of a communication satellite via a satellite communication base station 5 on the basis of the area information in the ground cellular area information memory and does not allocate the satellite spot beam to the area available of the ground cellular communication as its control.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a local oscillation frequency and a transmission clock frequency with high accuracy by improving the degree of stability for the carrier wave frequency or clock frequency of a base station transmitted wave. CONSTITUTION: This station is provided with a demodulation part 4 for reproducing a carrier wave signal and a clock signal from a received signal, oscillator with frequency control function (TCXO) 7, AFC 6 for controlling the oscillator 7 with a regenerative carrier wave signal as a reference and synthesizer 3 defining the output of the oscillator 7 as a reference clock, and provided with a frequency divider 8 for outputting a receiving clock signal and a transmitting clock signal by dividing the frequency of an output from the oscillator and a phase comparator 14 for comparing the phase of the reproduced clock signal with the phase of a received clock outputted from the frequency divider. Further, this station is composed of a frequency dividing controller 9 for controlling the frequency dividing ratio of the frequency divider 8 based on the output of the phase comparator. Thus, the transmission clock frequency with the high degree of stability can be maintained even without providing any highly stable crystal oscillator for the transmission clock.
