摘要： PURPOSE:To completely fill a rust preventive and improve corrosion resistance by winding a film type rust preventive having a swelled-out part on its end part, around the end edge of a one side panel, embedding the edge part of an opposite side panel which is laminated over said one side panel into said swelled-out part, and carrying out a hemming bending machining. CONSTITUTION:A film type rust preventive 13 is wound around the end edge of an inner panel 1, and an outer panel 2 is laminated over the inner panel 1. Then, a hemming curving machining is carried out in such a way that the edge part 2a of the outer panel 2 is embedded into the swelled-out part 13a of the rust preventive 13. After that, the rust preventive 13 is cured by heating for baking in coating pretreatment and electrodeposition coating processes. Thereby, the rust preventive can be completely filled in a hemming joint part eliminating voids, preventing a pretreatment liquid from remaining and improving corrosion resistance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the corrosion resistant capability of mating surfaces of a hinge and a panel, by forming a thermally hardenable corrosion preventing agent layer having specific shear strength, peel-off strength and viscosity, between a hinge attaching seat surface on a vehicle opening and closing member and the hinge. CONSTITUTION:A hinge 1 for an opening and closing member in a vehicle, such as, for example, an automobile front door hinge, is attached to a attaching seat surface on a vehicle body panel 2 by means of bolts 3, and a door panel 4 is jointed to the panel 2 by welding or bolts. In the above-mentioned arrangement, a thermally hardenable corrosion preventing agent 5 is applied on the mating surfaces of the hinge 1 and the vehicle body panel 2. It is preferable to brush-coal the agent on the hinge 1, and at this time, the viscosity of the agent is preferably less than 200,000 cp in order to enhance the working ability. Further, since it is sometime required to disassemble the hinge 1 and the panel 2 from each other in view of the types of hinges, the peel-off strength of the agent 5 is preferably 5kgf/25mm after hardening, while the sear strength of the agent 5 should be more than 100kg/cm in view of the strength of the door.
