    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying apparatus capable of securing favorable conveying property for a mixture of a raw powder and a carrier gas, and preventing the occurrence of combustion failure of the raw powder due to the shortage of the carrier gas (oxygen gas).SOLUTION: The thermal spraying apparatus includes: a storing means 20 for storing the raw powder 10 and having a delivery outlet 21 for delivering the raw powder 10; an ejector 30 for sucking the raw powder 10 from the delivery outlet 21 by a flow of a pressurized carrier gas and mixing the carrier gas with the raw powder to form the mixture; and a spraying means 40 for spraying the mixture formed by the ejector 30. In the thermal spraying apparatus for forming a refractory composition by ejecting and burning the mixture, gas blowing means A and B for blowing a supplementary carrier gas are provided at the positions in a flow passage of the ejector 30 and a downstream side thereof, excluding a straight part of the discharge conduit pipe 33 of the ejector 30.
