摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer LP insulator and a method of its manufacture capable of obtaining a product of high reliability without generating a fine crack in an FRP rod at use time and manufacture time. SOLUTION: In a space 11 generated in an FRP rod 2, internal surface of a clamping metal fixture 4 and an end face 3a of an insulating jacket unit 3, an elastic unit is provided, also a polymer LP insulator 1 applying fixedly calking adhesive force only to a bonding part between the clamping metal fixture 4 and the FRP rod 2 is made as an example, after insertion fitting the clamping metal fixture 11 to both end parts of the FRP rod 2, in its periphery, the insulating jacket unit 3 made of rubber is provided. In the space 11 generated in the FRP rod 2, clamping metal fixture 4 and the end face 3a of the insulating jacket unit 3, the elastic unit is provided, thereafter adhesive force is applied only to a bonding part between the clamping metal fixture 4 and the FRP rod 2, the insulator is obtained by fixedly calking the clamping metal fixture 4 to the FRP rod 2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the adhesive area of a joint section and surely bond the joint section by providing a portion extending the creeping distance on the joint section. SOLUTION: A polymer porcelain tube 1 is constituted of an FRP tube 2 and an envelope section 3 made of silicone rubber, and the envelope section 3 is constituted of an envelope barrel 4 and shade sections 5 protruded from it. A joint section 6 for the connection to the envelope section of the next mold is provided at the end section of the envelope section 3. The joint section 6 is constituted of the first slant face 6-1 connected to the outer surface of the envelope barrel 4, a concentric face 6-2 continued to it and parallel with the central axis of the FRP tube 2, and the second slant face 6-3 continued to it. The adhesive face is made larger than before by the amount of the concentric face 6-2, and the adhesion between the joint section 6 and the joint section of the next mold can be secured. Even if a trouble occurs on the work face, the creeping distance in the axial direction of the joint section 6 is large to cover this portion, the distance larger than before is available, and the long-term reliability can be improved.
