    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and to miniaturize a disk device by providing a driving mechanism to be used in common for plural heads in such a manner that a driving force transmitting means and a driving means are provided in a supporting means and the moving direction of the driving force transmitting means is made different from the moving direction of the supporting means. SOLUTION: At first, when a lead screw shaft 27 is rotated to the right by the rotation of a motor 30 to the right when viewed from this side, an engaging member 28 is driven in the direction of arrow A by the screwed engagement with a screw hole 28d and moved to the position of 2-dot chain line from the position of solid line. At this time, a signal is recorded/reproduced to a disk 1 by an optical head 3 while a supporting base 5 is moving in the direction of arrow C with the guide of a guiding shaft 4 and an engaging groove 28a. Simultaneously, the recording/ reproducing is made on the disk 1 by an optical head 23 while a supporting base 25 is moving in the direction of arrow E with the guide of a guiding shaft 24 and an engaging groove 28b. Next, when the motor is inversely rotated, the signal is recorded/reproduced against the disk 1 by the head 23 while the supporting base 25 is moving in the direction of arrow F with the guide of the guiding shaft 24 and the engaging groove 28b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to precisely adjust the slant angle of a laser light axis in the radial direction and tangential direction of an optical disk, and to realize a slant angle adjustment within a movable range of an objective lens, by reducing mutual height fluctuation between an optical head and the optical disk due to adjustment. SOLUTION: The turning center point of a guide shaft by elevating and lowering operation is constituted so as to orthogonally intersect the radial direction of the disk and to be on a plane passing through a rotary central axis of a disk motor 4. Thus, even when the optical head is slant adjusted, the mutual height fluctuation between the optical head and the optical disk doesn't occur, and the slant angle adjustment is realized within the movable range of the objective lens, and excellent recording/reproducing is performed as an optical disk device. Further, by simultaneously raising/lowering one ends of two pieces of supporting guide shafts 2, 3, the slant angle adjustment of the optical head in the radial direction of the disk is performed, and further, by elevating/lowering one end of at least a piece of guide shaft, the slant angle adjustment of the optical head in the tangential direction of the disk is performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perform reproduction by constituting the unit of a head for recording or reproducing 1st and 2nd information storage areas, a head moving means and a stopper and reproducing the 2nd information storage area after the head is abutted against the stopper. SOLUTION: A bar code 21 is positioned from a radius R1 to a radius R2, and a position of an objective lens 19 at the time of positioning the optical head by its abutting against the stopper 18a falls within a range from a radius S1 to a radius S2. When the objective lens 19 is in a position of the radius S2, the bar code 21 can be reproduced, and after performing usual operation recovery processing, the bar code reproducing operation is finished. Then, when the objective lens 19 is in a position of the radius S1, the bar code 21 cannot be reproduced, so that turning to objective lens shifting processing 41 and regenerative signal processing 42 are carried out. By constituting the device in such a way, positioning the head in abutting against the stopper is feasible, and hence the bar code in the 2nd information recording area can satisfactorily be performed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occupying region of a head from overlapping on an occupying region of a flexible cable by arranging the flexible cable to a shape having a first curved part which is gently bent to a U shape and moves by accompanying the sliding motion of a slide part and a second curved part which is bent to an acute angle like a hair pin in succession thereto. SOLUTION: The flexible cable 300 is formed to the shape having the first curved part 300a which is gently bent to the U shape and moves by accompanying the sliding motion of the slide part 100 when viewed from a transverse direction and the second curved part 300b which is bent to the acute angle like the hair pin in succession thereto and is fixed to a chassis body 200. As a result, the occupying region of the flexible cable may be made smaller and, therefore, the disk device may be so constituted that the occupying region of the head and the occupying region of the flexible cable do not overlap on each other even in the limited space of the disk device.
