摘要： PURPOSE:To crush effectively and economically the ice plate which approaches or forms in the surroundings of a structure by applying a crushing force to the ice plate by use of a boosting mechanism which boosts the pushing force of the ice plate and an ice plate shearing mechanism which shears the ice plate through the force boosted by the boosting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:With a boosting machine 2 compressed by an ice plate 8, the boosing force resulting from the compression is transmitted to a shearing block 10 through a pressure conduit 4c, so that the block 10 is pushed up toward the ice plate 8 to shear the latter. Since the block 10 thrusts up that portion of the ice plate 8 which is below the surface of the sea and is relatively weak, the ice plate 8 is sheared easily. Where a blade is provided between the ice crushers 1', cracks are created in the ice plate 8 and a more effective ice-crushing effect can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently preform a fibrous reinforcing member into a hollow preformed body by using a material lost by heating as material of a core. CONSTITUTION:First, a lost form core 14 is formed by material lost by heating. This lost foam core is mounted in a cavity 11. Then, fibrous reinforcing member slurry is supplied from a slurry supplying passage 12 into the cavity 11. After the fibrous reinforcing member slurry is supplied, the pressure in the cavity 11 is reduced by an external vacuum means to remove water in the fibrous reinforcing member slurry and to obtain a primary preformed body 15 arranging a lost foam core 14. Then, when the primary preformed body 15 obtained is heated, the lost foam core 14 is heated and lost and a hollow preformed body 16 is manufactured. Then, the hollow preformed body 16 obtained is built up into a mold of metal matrix composite. Molten metal is supplied into the cavity 11, pressed and impregnated in the preformed body. In this case, the preformed body 16 is hollow and therefore the molten metal is supplied efficiently.
