摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a ring for textile machine which has superior wear resistance and lubricity and causes a little thread dirtying and snapping when used, by treating sintered iron group alloy, which contains Ni and S and has adequate oil content, and surface hardened. CONSTITUTION:A textile machine ring made of iron sintered alloy, consist of 1- 5wt% Ni, 0.2-3wt% S and Fe and inevitable impurities as the remainder and make to have 10-25 vol.% oil content with zinc stearate is sintered after pressure formation, and carburizing and carbonitriding are carried out to form a surface hardened layer. To the alloy of said composition, optionally 1-5wt% Cu and/or 0.2-3wt% Mo is further added. The component Ni reinforces a matrix and improves conformability, and the S improves lubricity and the conformability. The Cu and Mo reinforce the matrix, so they are added specially when strength is needed.

CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising, by wt%, 1W7% Cu, 0.2W2.5% Cr, 0.5W 1.2% C, 1W5% Ni, optionally 0.05W3% of one or more of P, B and Si and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, is prepared. The oil-contg. ratio of the composition is controlled at 5W35vol%, and a surface-hardened layer is formed. Thus, a roller chain bush having the same hardness as that of a conventional one, an excellent abrasion resistance and an excellent lubricativity, too, is produced at a low cost.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a titled cam shaft by fitting and fixing a cam part consisting of a ferrous sintered body contg. an adequate ratio of cavity via a copper or copper alloy layer to a shaft part and heating the same thereby forming a copper or coper alloy impregnated layer. CONSTITUTION:A cam part 2 formed of a ferrous sintered material in such a way that cavity exist therein at 2-25% is fitted via copper or copper alloy 3 to the outside circumference of a shaft part 1 then said part is heated for prescribed time at about the temp. at which the copper or copper alloy 3 turns into a liquid phase thereby impregnating the copper or copper alloy 3 into the cam part 2. The assembly is then cooled, by which a joint part 4 is formed between the shaft part 1 and the cam part 2 and at the same time a copper or copper alloy impregnated layer 5 continuous therewith if formed. The cam shaft is obtained with which the cam part 2 is securely fixed to the shaft part 1, the cam part 2 wears less even under high surface pressure, at high temp. and in deteriorated oil and the attack to the mating member is lower.
