    • PURPOSE: To make destruction of microdefects possible and to make segregation elements near grain boundary uniform by heating materials to be welded having microdefects in the inside at high temp. and applying high pressure.
      CONSTITUTION: By heating materials to be welded in which microdefects such as cracks and pores etc. are generated in the inside of welding part at high temp., base materials are allowed to sufficiently cause plastic flow or creep behavior. Therewith, by pressing mechanically from each directions for uniaxial, biaxial, and triaxial or by applying high pressure such as hydrostatic pressure from all directions, the base materials are accelerated to behave plastic deformation. By holding enough time at such heated and pressured state and performing heat treating process or metallurgical reaction, the microdefects are desturcted. Then, by performing of unloading and cooling, the welding microdefects are extinguished. According this method, a disk of gas-turbine wheels and blades etc. are joined surely by meltwelding.
