摘要： PURPOSE:To repidly form a high sensitivity negative image with less fog by forming a silver saving silver halide layer by a silver salt diffusion transfer method and carrying out processing with a developing soln. contg. a silver halide solvent and a specified component. CONSTITUTION:On a support a sensitive photographic element is formed contg. photosensitive silver halide, metal salt particles such as silver halide particles and physical developing nuclei in combination with each other. This element is imagewise exposed and developed with an alkali composition contg. a silver halide developer and one or more kinds of compounds represented by formula I (where each of R and R is alkyl or alkenyl, each of R and R is alkylene or allylene and X is -O-, COO, CONH or CONHHC), e.g., the compound of formula II. By this method a silver halide image is intensified, and a fine-grain negative image assuming a neutral gray color is rapidly formed. This developing soln. maintains its stable characteristics even at high temp.
