摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate inspection and repairing and to effectively carry out the fermentation of sludge, by a method wherein plural shelf plates are installed between equal length chains arranged along opposed two internal side wall surfaces of a fermentation tank and each shelf plate apparatuses are horizontally moved by driving said chains. CONSTITUTION:Plural chains 4a, 4b, 4c having different lengths respectively are installed under tension along the upward and a downward directions of opposed two side wall inner surfaces of a fermentation tank 1 so as to protrude the upper part above the fermentation tank 1 and to position the lower part thereof to the shelf plate support positions of each stages. These chains are provided under tension so as to be engaged with sprocket wheels 5a, 5b, 5c respectively arranged to both end parts of the side walls in the upper and the lower parts of the fermentation tank 1. Between equal length chains along the opposed two side wall inner surfaces of the fermentation tank 1, strip like shelf plates 6 are arranged parallelly at predetermined intervals and end parts of each shelf plates are engaged with the chains to form a shelf plate apparatus of each stages.

摘要： PURPOSE:To execute efficient aeration while preventing the deposition of sludge and the worsening of water quality by operating aerators in such a manner that the flow velocity on the inner side of the water paths by the aerators increases higher than on the outer peripheral side according to the shape and size of the endless water path to be aerated so that the flow velocity is uniformized over the entire part of the water path and the water path is uniformly fixed. CONSTITUTION:The aerators 2 of a screw type are used for, for example, double cylindrical aeration tanks 1. The reason thereof is to generate water flow by the rotation of the screws and to suck the air through a hollow shaft by utilizing the negative pressure in the front end part of the screw generated by this water flow so that the air is supplied in the form of fine bubbles in sewage to efficiently dissolve the bubbles in the water. The respective aerators 2 are set at a certain angle in the angle in the direction tangential to the tank 1. The flow velocities on the inner peripheral side and outer peripheral side of the water path 13 are nearly uniformized in the case of alpha=9 deg., beta=6 deg., and alpha=9 deg., beta not operating if the angle of the aerator 2 on the inner side is designated as alpha and the angle of the aerator 2 on the outer side as beta. Such uniformization is attained by operating the aerators 2 at the flow velocity higher on the inner peripheral side of the water path 13 than on the outer peripheral side.
