CONSTITUTION:When 'KANSEI' [shown as figure (c) inertia, (d) completion, (e) cheer] is inputted from an input device 22 in KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary), a CPU 21 retrieves a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese characters) conversion dictionary of a memory 23 to check the relation between the input 'KANSEI' and its additional word based on the grammar information. Then the CPU 21 stores the corresponding candidates in a candidate temporary storing part of the memory 23 in the order of cumulative application frequencies for each word number. Then the word numbers of three Chinese characters 'KANSEI' [(c), (d), (e)] are stored in a word storing part of the memory 23 in the latest application order and then stored in a candidate display part in said order. Then the candidates are displayed on the CRT screen of a display device 25 in the latest application order. When a user selects one of those three Chinese characters, the word number of the selected 'KANSEI' (d) is shifted to the latest position of the word storing part to shift totally other words. The unused words are displayed later based on the information on the cumulative application frequency.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the safety of system operation by making the operation of practice mode switch effective only at application of power of a terminal device.
      CONSTITUTION: The terminal control system consists of a practice mode setting switch 1, a chattering eliminating flip-flop (hereinafter FF) 2 for the switch 1, an AND circuit for setting the set condition, a practice mode holding circuit FF 4, a power application sequence state holding FF 5 and an OR circuit 6 for setting reset condition. The permission of the practice mode setting is given by the system manager and when the practice mode set switch 1 is operated, the FF 2 is set and the device is switched into the practice mode. In case of the mode other than the power supply sequence, even if the said switch 1 is operated, no AND circuit 3 is actuated and since the practice holding mode FF 4 is not set, the switching to the practice mode is limited at the power application only.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently execute translation work by sequentially translating a sentence of the 1st language into a sentence of the 2nd language on the way of its input, judging whether the word order of a translated result is same as that of the original or not, and when both the word orders are same with each other, displaying a translated result as it is. CONSTITUTION:A Japanese character string is inputted at first (S1 01) and the inputted Japanese word part is translated in each unit more than a word, a clause, or a phrase (S102). Then the word order of the translated result is the same as the word order of the original or not is checked. Thereby a translated Japanese word is used as a key and whether the condition part of a word order changing rule is matched with a character string to be translated or not is checked (S103). When matched, the word order of Korean words to be the contents described in the execution part of the word order changing rule (S104), the part whose word order is changed is collectively regarded as one word and the contents of a record of analytical result describing data are corrected (S105). Then the translated result is displayed (S106) under the Japanese sentence and finally whether the input of one sentence has been ended or not is checked (S107).

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a case to be converted into a dictionary coincident word not expected by an input operator and correcting operation by referring a cancel word dictionary registering the reading of a converted character string and that of a determined character string as a pair. CONSTITUTION:The 'KANA' (Japanese syllabary)/'KANJI' (Chinese character) converter is provided with a converted character string register 5 for storing a 'KANA'/'KANJI' converted result, a reconversion processing part 6 for executing correcting operation and a determined character string register 7 for storing a determined character string to be a reconverted result. The reading of a converted character string obtained immediately after conversion is compared with that of a determined character string, and when both the reading results are different from each other, the reading of the converted character string and that of the determined character string are registered in the cancel word dictionary 10. At the time of succeeding 'KANA'/'KANJI' conversion, the dictionary 10 is referred at first, and when the reading of an input character string concides with that of the converted character string in the cancel words, the input character string is not treated as a conversion candidate and the precedently adopted reading of the corresponding determined character string is treated as a conversion candidate. Consequently, conversion from an input word into a word not expected by an operator can be reduced.
