摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent lockup shocks and the trouble of an engine by properly setting a lockup control variable for a clutch using the history of past lockups when an accelerator is stepped so that a lockup is provided when a vehicle is started and not provided when a clutch pressure plate is re-stepped on. CONSTITUTION:A control unit obtains throttle opening information 13 and velocity information 15 and uses a lockup determination map to determine whether or not the stepping-on of a clutch pressure plate in question is contained in the lockup area of the map. If not, the control unit 1 determines that the clutch pressure plate has been re-stepped on and sends a duty signal to a torque converter telling it to provide the maximum current value otherwise, a rotational deviation (e) is determined from an engine rotation signal 12 and an input rotation signal 14 and feedback control causes a lockup duty signal 16 to be generated based on the rotational deviation (e). When the rotational deviation (e) becomes smaller, the control unit 1 switches feedback control to start controlling the torque converter 7.

CONSTITUTION:In an intake port body 1 located on the periphery of a rotary cleaning body 7 rotatable within a roughly box-shaped intake port 6, and equipped with a soft and flexible blade 14 extended approximately in an axial direction, a side wall 6a along the lengthwise direction of the intake port 6 is provided with a projection body 22 of flexible material such as soft vinyl chloride synthetic resin, extending in an axial direction over length more than enough to contact the edge 14a of the blade 14. The projection body 22 is approximately cylindrical or prismatic. Waste thread, hair or the like caught along the end of the blade 14 causes the deflection thereof, and moves toward the end where resiliency against the deflection is weak, finally riding on the projection body 22. As a result, a tautness effect due to the waste thread, hair or the like is weakened. At the same time, the waste thread, hair or the like is repeatedly beaten, loosened with the rotating blade 14, and sucked into a cleaner, thereby eliminating the entangled thread, hair or the like.

Further, since no projection part exists in the vicinity of the top edge of a blade 14, a floor surface is prevented from being damaged. In particular, the wool of a carpet is prevented from being plucked.
