摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a comfortable elevator car which is prevented from water/ oil intrusion through a side plate/joint coupling part by furnishing a distance piece in a signal piece structure with the side plate at the coupling part, and making coupling of the side plate with joint from inside the elevator car. CONSTITUTION:An elevator car is composed of a side plate 1 installed upright on a baseboard 3 and a joint 2 arranged at the lower part of the side plate 1. A distance piece 4 in a single piece structure with the side plate 1 is furnished in the coupling part of the side plate 1 with the joint 2, wherein it is made practicable to perform the coupling works from inside the elevator car. That is, a threaded hole is provided in the distance piece 4 so that the joint 2 and distance piece 4 are hinged together by a screw 5, and thereby the joint 2 is fastened to the side plate 1. According to this constitution, water or oil is prevented from intruding through the side plate/joint 1/2 coupling part, and a comfortable elevator car is accomplished.

摘要： PURPOSE:To operate an elevator in the modernization work period of a machine room by utilizing the existing cage and cylinder, by providing the third hydraulic unit different from the existing hydraulic unit and the newest hydraulic unit to be installed. CONSTITUTION:When a hydraulic unit 1 of a hydraulic elevator is modernized to the newest model of hydraulic unit, the third hydraulic unit 11 is connected to a connection 5a positioned at an adequate position of an oil pipe 5 by using an oil pipe 12, as the first step of the modernization work, and then, the hydraulic unit 1 is removed from the system of the hydraulic elevator. The upward movement of a cage 7 is made by the pressure oil from the third pump 14, and the downward movement is made by opening the pipeline of a manual lowering valve 18 to return the pressure oil to the third oil tank 17. By using the third hydraulic unit 11, the existing hydraulic unit 1 is replaced to the newest hydraulic unit, the newest hydraulic unit is assembled in the system of the hydraulic elevator to carry out the modernization, and after that, the third hydraulic unit 11 is removed.
