    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing unauthorized connection to a network which have low costs and require low man-hours for introduction with respect to closed area communication within a LAN.
      SOLUTION: It is discriminated whether unique information of a terminal included in an ARP request received from the terminal through the LAN is already registered or not, and the terminal is regarded as an unauthorized terminal to transmit a disturbing message showing duplication of unique information of the terminal when it is discriminated that it is not registered yet. The ARP request is an ARP request transmitted when connecting to the network or an ARP request by which the unauthorized terminal requests unique information to another terminal. The disturbing message comprises at least one of a disturbing reply wherein unique information of the unauthorized terminal is set in a transmission source address, and a disturbing request so that the unauthorized terminal is in a unique information duplicate state. It may be discriminated whether unique information of a terminal is already registered or not by an ARP reply returned in response to an ARP request which is successively transmitted to registered terminals. The unique information includes a MAC address or an IP address and includes a VLAN tag also.
