At the time of inserting or ejecting a disk cartridge 1 into or from the pan 111, the side edge of the disk cartridge 1 is brought into contact with the contact part moving member 112a of the rotary type side edge guiding device 112, the contact part moving member 112a is moved, a contact resistance at the time of inserting is reduced, and a mutual friction is eliminated. Thus, the generation of trashes due to separation, cut-drop, etc., caused in the friction action can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a medium and a collet by providing a chamfered part and a linear part on the side, which faces a medium inserting hole of a floppy disc device, of a lever which clamps the medium. CONSTITUTION:A lever 16 is provided with a chamfered part 17 and a linear part 18 on the side of a medium inserting hole 7 of the device, and a metallic tool 19 which is the revolving shaft of the lever 16 is provided on the side opposite to the chamfered part 17. When the lever 16 is tried to turn in the state where a medium 8 is inserted incompletely, the medium 8 is not caught because the chambered part 17 is first brought into contact with the medium 8, and the medium 8 is pressed into the device by turning the lever 16 furthermore, and at last, the medium 8 is fixed to a normal position by the linear part 18 and a platen part B in the device. Thereafter, the lever 16 is turned to the last position to clamp the medium 8. The incomplete insertion state of the medium is compensated, and the damage of the medium 8 and the collet is prevented for clamping.
