摘要： PURPOSE:To execute an off-line transaction by constituting the titled system so that a card is inserted in an automatic transaction device, a password code and a requested amount of payment within the drawable balance are inputted by a manual peration so that the cash is payed out. CONSTITUTION:When the user's card 50 is inserted in an automatic transacting machine 10, the password code and the drawable balance are read by a reading/ writing part 6. The password is collated with the one inputted manually by the user and read. Then, when the requested amount of payment is inputted, the cash is payed out from a cash safe 7 if the said amount is within the drawable balance. That is, the user first pays a certain amount of money, and the amount is recorded in the card 50, and the payment of cash is made available within the amount of the drawable balance by means of the off-line transaction.

Thus, one of the other line control means is used at the occurrence of the protocol error to transfer the data required for deciding the trace data and the time of each event to the external processing means 120.
