摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound useful for a heat-sensitive recording material having high developed color density of the recorded image and excellent color-developing property, light resistance, etc. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I (T and U are each H, a halogen, a alkyl, etc.; V is H, a halogen, OR , etc.; R , R an R are each an alkyl or an aryl; X is an anion), e.g. a diazonium salt of formula II. The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by refluxing a mixture of 2',4'- dihexyloxyacetanilide, concentrated hydrochloric acid and methanol under heating for 3hr, cooling to -5 deg.C, dropping an aqueous solution of NaNO2 into the product, stirring at 10 deg.C for 1hr, adding sodium hexafluorophosphate and water to the reaction mixture, stirring the mixture at 10 deg.C for 30min, collection the precipitated crystal by filtration, washing the crystal with isopropanol, recrystallizing from ethyl acetate and isopropanol and drying the obtained crystal.
