SOLUTION: The heating system 100 is provided with: the heat pump system 1; a hot water storage tank 2 for storing hot water heated by the heat pump system 1; a circulation circuit 4 for circulating the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank 2 between the hot water storage tank 2 and a heating terminal 8; a circulating pump 48 for changing a flow rate of the hot water to be supplied to the heating terminal 8; a going temperature control means 45 for controlling going temperature of hot water to be supplied to the heating terminal 8; a control means 74 for controlling at least one of the circulating pump 48 and the going temperature control means 45; and a determination means 73 for determining a heating load in the heating terminal 8. When the determination means 73 determines that the heating load is smaller than a predetermined value, the control means 74 controls at least one of the circulating pump 48 and the going temperature control means 45 so that return temperature of the hot water to be returned from the heating terminal 8 to the hot water storage tank 2 is lowered.
